Writing Guidelines

Whatever you are writing, there are some guidelines which always apply. Try to write in sentences;

  • make sure that your sentences follow on from each other in a logical way;
  • include enough explanation for your tutor to understand your work (or for you to understand it when you come back to it two or three months later);
  • use the correct vocabulary and notation.

It is a good idea to read any solutions you have written out loud. Then you will see if you have written in sentences and whether it reads easily.
